eatAutoCode 0.5.0.9008 (2026-10-24)

  • Updated the bundled JavaScript autocoder from @iqb/responses 5.3.1 to 5.5.0, with @iqbspecs/coding-scheme 3.5.0 and @iqbspecs/variable-info 2.1.0. Rebuilt the bundle and version metadata.
  • Added independent expected-value matrices for 113 regular-answer cases and 188 derivation cases. All 1,204 combinations of case, R function and list/JSON input passed against 5.3.1 before the update and against 5.5.0 with unchanged expectations. Existing status matrices also pass unchanged.
  • Added integration tests for the optional partial-credit handling of displayed and empty source responses in SUM_CODE, SUM_SCORE and CONCAT_CODE, including source preservation, pending coding and the distinction between 0_x and 0_0.
  • Added a vignette documenting the valid-answer and derivation matrices, clarified the default behavior covered by the status vignettes, and added the JavaScript build and version metadata steps to the existing developer update instructions.
  • Documented the pre-existing upstream COPY_VALUE behavior that converts numeric 0 and FALSE to null; this behavior is unchanged by the update.
